TC Electronic has long been a serious
player in the studio effects arena, developing effects processors with lush, warm reverbs and scarily
realistic harmony vocals. In recent years, they've also developed great products for guitarists,
combining digital control with analog tone. Flagship products like the Nova System, PowerCore 6000,
and VoicePro are used by professionals in recording studios and stages everywhere.
In the past few years, TC has been producing mid- and low-end versions of their products for
"regular" musicians like you and me, too. While maintaining the high sonic excellence of
their professional-level counterparts, these rack and stomp box effects provide a clean, immediately useful
interface with unique features, free of the need to dive into the technology for days, when all you want
is to make music!

Let's start
with the PolyTune.
A tuner??? Come on, I've got a $15 tuner that I've been using for years -- suits me just fine. Well, this one's different. The PolyTune can tune your whole guitar at once. Now that may seem like a gimmick, but it's not. How many times have you been on stage with a guitar that just seems a little "off" on a couple of strings. The problem is, which strings? So, you say to your bandmates, "Hold on, I need to tune up." And you check your E string, then your A, ... and about a minute later, you're back and ready to go -- but the mood's been broken by the break, and all the dancers have gone to have a drink. (Or worse, they've been listening to your drummer's lousy jokes, and now they're heading for their coats!) The PolyTune can look at all of your strings at once, and tell you which ones are in tune, and which ones are sharp or flat. ALL of them, in one nice color display. And yeah, when you figure out the bad one, it jumps to a classic needle or streaming mode (your choice) to really dial in on that one string. The PolyTune senses whether you're playing one string or several, and adjusts the mode to match. In most cases, you'll be back in tune in 15 seconds or less!

| The PolyTune
works for bass, too, and can even help with a 12-string guitar. The PolyTune can be set to any
reference pitch from 435-445Hz -- in case the piano ion the studio hasn't been tuned in a while -- and can be
drop-tuned all the way to a B. It's the same size as most small stomp boxes, runs on 9V battery
or AC power, and even includes a spare jack to share the AC with another stomp box. It has true
bypass to stay completely out of the way when you're not tuning. It may not make tuning fun,
but it couldn't make it any easier!

| There are a lot of 'stomp box' pedals out there, but the new TC line offers a cool twist:
Each one allows you to download a custom setting from one of your favorite players, to
add new features to the pedal. And here's the best part -- the custom program can be changed
as often as you like, using a USB cable and a computer!
Take the Corona Chorus, for example. The Corona starts with
TC's legendary SCF chorus pedal, which came to market over 25 years ago and is still an industry
standard, due due to its incredible dynamic range and lack of noise. And they reproduced it
in full stereo, ins and outs. They provided Speed, Depth, Color, and Level controls, true
bypass design, and an easy-access battery hatch, all using the highest-quality components. Then
they added a Tri-Cho rus mode for even more shimmer and swirl.
Chorus, though, is one of those effects that is very personal. I may plug into a chorus
pedal and think it's fantastic, but the same sound may leave you cold. Here comes the Corona
to fix that: If you don't like the standard SCF and Tri-Chorus modes, it has a slot to download
another chorus setup tailored to the ears of John Petrucci, Bumblefoot, Orianthi, Paul Gilbert,
Steve Morse, or Guthrie Govan, to name a few. These TonePrints aren't just a set of knob twists;
they provide a way to alter the actual programming of the pedal itself, adding range and features
that the standard settings don't provide. And TC's own staff has created even more variations.
Over time, the list of TonePrints is growing, giving you all kinds of choices. Plus, the
stored TonePrint can be replaced any time you like!

| The Vortex Flanger will take you from a classic flange sound to a 747 taking off! The Vortex Flanger allows you to toggle between a classic flange or a through zero tape-flange, plus a custom TonePrint of your choice; while the Speed, Depth, Feedback, and Delay-Time controls give you a creative and expansive palette of tonal options. | The Flashback Delay features 6 seconds delay time of every delay type you could ever wish for, from TC's legendary 2290, to slapback, tape, and analog -- 10 different types in all -- and it also doubles as a looper! The Flashback features a spillover on/off switch as well as Delay Time, Feedback and Repeat controls. | The Hall of Fame Reverb is a collection of the ultimate reverbs, packed tightly in one cool pedal. The pedal gives you 10 reverb types -- spring, hall, plate, room, church, and ambient -- and a custom TonePrint for a world of inspiration! The pedal features Decay, Color and Level controls, and features analog-dry-through which guarantees total tonal integrity of your dry sound, even with the pedal active. | The Shaker Vibrato
features two types of vibrato: a classic true pitch vibrato, and ‘latch mode’ where the
effect is only active when you press and hold the switch. This allows for subtle vibrato and
faux-whammy bar effects without having to tap dance all night. Like all TonePrint pedals,
the Shaker Vibrato has a true bypass design, and features Speed, Depth, Tone and Rise Time
controls.
