Traynor Amps The Smart Choice in Tube Tone
Back in the day, Pete Traynor's line of guitar and bass amplifiers seemed to be everywhere -- at least, where I grew up.  They were rugged, had a great tone, and were priced at a point where us regular musicians could afford them.  Well, Traynor is back in the guitar amp field with a vengeance, and their new tube amps, including the Custom Series, prove that while the years may have gone by, the Traynor ethos is still the same. Take the YCS50 combo, for example.  What a well-built amp with beautiful tone!  The cool vintage look of the amp is only the start of the journey.  Its clean channel can produce all the "Blackface" tube tone you can stand, or switch to the "British" preamp voicing for more grind.  Switch to the lead channel, with its vintage and modern EQ settings, kick in the Boost, and the sustain goes on for days.  Add in the flexibility of individual EQ on each channel, effects and pre-/power-amp loops, and 6L6 or EL34 operation, and you've got an amp that easily competes with combos twice its price! Coupled to the efficient Celestion 12" speaker, The 15W Class-A setting is more than enough volume for practice and recording gigs. Switch to the 50W Class-AB mode, and this amp screams! For players who need more power, the YCS90 has the same features, but 90W of Class-AB power (30W in Class-A), along with two lightweight 12" speakers with Neodymium magnets.  Both amps feature Traynors 2-year "even if you break it" warranty.
